The THINKAlex planning process divides Alexandria into four "Planning Areas". Planning Area meetings allow neighbors to gather and discuss the future of their immediate surroundings and offer detailed local perspectives. The city is split this way to ensure that neighborhood-level issues are championed in the THINKAlex plan alongside Citywide issues.
